We are delighted that our sommelier Iiro Lutter has received a prestigious award from the renowned Gault&Millau. As part of the Grand Selection Awards 2025 and the best wine lists in Germany, Iiro was awarded 5 red grapes for his exceptional wine concept in our gourmet restaurant es:senz. This makes him one of the best sommeliers in Germany and he received the highest rating from Gault&Millau. We are incredibly proud to have Iiro in the Achental team. We appreciate his
collegiality and his friendly manner as a person as well as his high level of professional expertise as a sommelier.

“101 Best Hotels in Germany 2025” at the Resort das Achental.
Hotel owner family Müller warmly welcomed the 101 best to the award ceremony at our resort. We were able to celebrate three significant successes. In the “Luxury Golf Resorts” category, we took second place in a Germany-wide comparison and our resort came 13th in the overall ranking of the 101 best hotels in Germany. In addition, our hotel was honored as “Rising Star of the Year” - a newcomer in the luxury hotel sector.
Managing Director Nikolai Bloyd was able to accept the awards directly in the evening. Ursula Schelle-Müller and her husband Dieter Müller are incredibly proud of their entire Achental team and thanked them for their great commitment. The couple also thanked all their guests and partners, without whose loyalty and support such a success would not have been possible.

Chef Patissière at es:senz, Desiree Nieder, secured first place among Chef Patissiers in Germany. The 32-year-old was presented with the Rolling Pin Award at the Rolling Pin Convention Germany 2023 in Berlin. What is special about this award is that only employees in the catering industry are allowed to vote and, in addition to craftsmanship, the commitment and role model effect of the respective person for the catering industry is also a decision criterion. The Rolling Pin Award is considered the biggest industry award.
